Hi I’m James!
I’m a chiropractor and I love living and working in Eastbourne.
Why be a Chiropractor in Eastbourne?
I grew up locally and love Eastbourne’s “Sunshine Coast” and the South Downs. I think Eastbourne’s a great town, with a positive vibe, great community and lots of things to do.
I think it’s something about the sea air that makes you want to get out there and live life!
I love being busy and am always active. I enjoy running over the downs or along Eastbourne’s prom. I’m an enthusiastic (but rather wimpy) sea swimmer and keen cyclist.
I’m also one of those strange people who enjoy my rehab exercises, keeping me in good shape to enjoy life to the full. I also believe exercise can be a great way to prevent injury and boost recovery.
I Love Being a Chiropractor
I thrive on the challenges of having to work out what’s wrong and how to fix it. But what’s most rewarding is when you help people and make a difference.
It’s All About You
As well as working out what’s wrong, I think it’s important to properly listen to the people I see. That way you can focus your treatment to meet their goals.
I’m always happy to help and take time to answer questions, or explain what’s going on.
Back Pain and Headaches
As a child, I suffered for years with back pain and headaches that were coming from my neck. Eventually, as a teenager I went to see a chiropractor and he solved all my problems.
Chiropractic treatment as a child changed my life. I could play sport again, and could concentrate in class without pain and headaches.
I never forgot the massive change chiropractic had made to my life and I also never forgot how kind and caring my chiropractor had been. That’s when I knew I wanted to be a chiropractor.
Bit of an Old Git
I have over twenty years’ experience, three University Degrees: BSc (HONS) Chiropractic; BSc (HONS) Biology; MSc Chiropractic Science (which isn’t bad for a dyslexic) and lots of post-grad experience.
Shoulder Pain, Plantar Fasciitis, Tennis Elbow and More
I’m old enough now to have had a few aches pains and problems over the years. These set back have helped me become a better chiropractor.
When you see me, the chances are that I’ve seen it before or I’ve had it myself!
Plantar fasciitis was particularly fun!
